About

I am a senior consultant at CITYTECH.

I started out developing web applications back when Spring, Struts, & Hibernate was the coolest stack. Then I started working with web services and focusing on enterprise integration. I spent a while working with portals. I try not to think of that time. I ended up settling on enterprise architecture and integration.

However, for the past year or so I am been working with enterprise content management systems with a focus on web content management. Today I spend a lot of time with Day Communique and Alfresco. About half of that time is spent on integrating said products with other enterprise applications as opposed to pure stand-a-lone product development.

I’m very interested in grid computing whether it be data grids or computational grids. I’m also interested in alternative persistence options such as object databases and emerging architectures. I feel that we are beginning to move away from the traditional MVC and 3-tier architectures. I am also interesting in OSGi and Flex.
