Red Hat Honors Old SKUs for Renewals through 5/31/11

After much anticipation, we have official word from Red Hat that we can process RHEL renewal orders at the old subscription model until 5/31/11. (All JBoss orders must be with the new model, as that cutoff date was 12/31/10.) I am working with as many of my customers as possible to ensure they have the option to renew before the cutoff, or at least have a budgetary quote in place. Starting June 1st, all Red Hat Enterprise Linux orders must be processed with the new model. Therefore, I strongly recommend that if you have any questions, or are in need of information about how the pricing affects your organization, you contact me as soon as possible.

As you may know, Red Hat made some significant changes to their subscription model last November. I hope to clear up some of the questions and concerns I have heard from customers.
